Tee hee; just kidding about that last part. Sort of!
In all seriousness, this is the biggest question I get in my photography studio: What do I bring to wear? Now, the first thing that comes to mind, of course, when choosing boudoir outfits, is garters, stockings and bras, basically ‘typical’ lingerie. Don’t limit yourself, though! Consider beautiful robes, lace frocks, satiny sleepwear and even sweet baby dolls.
Lately, I’ve noticed a few trends in our boudoir: textures, lots and lots of textures. (Oh, and oodles of colors; we’ll get to that!) We’ve got patent leather shoes, big chunky jewelry, sequins and beading, soft feathers and furs. Delicious textures that really work in the sets.
Your boudoir photo session doesn’t have to be just uber sexy lingerie: think outside the box and choose some items that reflect your style, your personality, and make you feel fantastic!
Notice some things I’m partial to? Ostrich feathers and that yummy Tiffany Blue.
