What was your biggest fear heading into your Boudoir Photography Roseville CA shoot? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead??
My biggest fear was having another horrible experience I had had before. The first time I took boudoir photos I was told I should hurry and do some before I have kids and ruin my body. I took the opportunity when I saw an advertisement for Valentine’s Boudoir. The experience was a nightmare. They had a makeshift studio set up in the back of a busy salon where customers were coming in and out. I was half naked and exposed to whomever was in the salon. It was cold and extremely awkward.
My experience with you was NOTHING like the first! This whole experience was wonderful. It felt like I was just hanging out with one of my best girlfriends. But better! Like hanging out with my gal pals in a luxury hotel. Not only did the studio look like a dream bedroom but it smelled good too.
Another thing that made the shoot easy was your ability to help me decide on what to wear. You had everything hung in the changing room for me and when I was indecisive you suggested what to put on and it was perfect. Not to mention all the articles and videos you send ahead of time to get all the ideas or wardrobe flowing, especially the “what not to wear” part. Jill, you have a talent.
What, specifically, was your favorite part of your experience with our Boudoir Photography Roseville CA, and why?
Besides the WHOLE experience! The best part of the experience were the sneak peaks that you give from your camera. You can pose and move and think that you look good (or even look bad) but then you’re given a moment to look at the pictures and it reassures you! You have an eye for lighting, angles, and positioning. And you put people at ease.
What advice would you give to someone considering booking their boudoir shoot with us?
DON’T WAIT. We all want to lose weight, tone up, hide our stretch marks, etc. We second guess the “right” opportunity to get photos of ourselves done… BUT we shouldn’t!
What types of negative things did you tell yourself before your Boudoir Photography Roseville CA session?
My rear end is too small and flat and there’s no way it will look good. I’ll just have to face forward the whole time!

What did you take away from your Boudoir Photography Roseville CA photography experience that surprised you the most?
As we get older and the years tack on to our marriage I have these desires to remember the younger and more exciting days in our relationship. The days when there weren’t so many “mommy” things to do and we could actually wear something fancier than gym clothes and a bun in our hair. Those days when you weren’t so tired at night and you actually had the energy to put lingerie on! The experience reminded me of the GODDESS within. That sultry lady that is still in there that needed to be woke! It gave me the confidence again to be the woman my husband desires in the bedroom. Not the tired mom.
