What was your biggest fear before hiring Boudoir Auburn? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?

My biggest fear before meeting with Jillian was that I wouldn’t be able to correctly pose for the camera or look good (photogenic) on camera. This couldn’t have been farther from the truth. Jillian makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She is extremely patient when trying to help you when posing so your pictures come out looking incredible. I can’t tell you how many times she showed me a pose and I didn’t get it right the first time or even the second time. I felt as if I was letting myself and her down at first but she was patient and encouraging! She is so fun to be around and gives off a sense of positivity!

What, specifically, was your favorite part of your experience, and why?

My favorite part of the experience was getting out of my comfort zone. It was strange to be naked in front of the camera but exhilarating and mysterious feeling at the same time.

What advice would you give to someone considering booking a session with Boudoir Auburn?

I would tell other ladies that Jillian is truly a special person who is gifted and talented at what she does. She is extremely personable and makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk through her doors.

What responses did you get from your Beloved/friends/family about your images?

After I received my pictures from Jillian I showed some friends, family members, and my significant other. They were all literally blown away at how professional and beautiful the pictures looked. My mom and sister said “you should model!” My significant other said I was absolutely stunning and beautiful and couldn’t stop staring at the pictures.

What types of negative things (if any) did you tell yourself before your session with Boudoir Auburn (ie I don’t look like a model, I should lose x lbs, I have stretch marks, too old, etc.)?

I kept telling myself, “if I had only lost 8 more lbs and my butt looked firmer I would feel better on camera.” After seeing my pictures which looked amazing so felt a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I am 46 yrs old and feel amazing for how far I have come in life. I looked much younger in my pictures and felt beautiful!

What did your experience do to silence those doubts?

The photographer helped silence those doubts. Jillian made me feel so comfortable with the entire experience, including myself.

What did you take away from your experience at Boudoir Auburn that surprised you the most?

My experience was one I hadn’t expected. I came in the door feeling anxious, nervous, and excited. After taking some pictures I became a little more relaxed, mostly because of Jillian. Is encouraging and patient. When I saw my pictures I was shocked at how beautiful they looked!

What three words describe your experience best?

Awe-Inspiring, Courageous, Amazing!
