What was your biggest fear heading into your Boudoir Photographer Auburn CA shoot? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead??
My biggest fear was that I wasn’t going to like a single picture! I feel that I don’t photograph well in pictures. But HOLY HELL WAS THAT A LIE TO MYSELF. I would’ve had to order two albums if I didn’t narrow down my choices because I loved every one!
What, specifically, was your favorite part of your experience with our Boudoir Photographer Auburn CA, and why?
My favorite part of the entire experience was working with Jillian. She made me feel SO comfortable and relaxed during the entire session. After my photo shoot, I called every girlfriend and family member just to rave about what I just did. I was so proud of myself! And it was all thanks to Jillian for making me feel so good about myself. I walked out of her studio with a whole new confidence!
What advice would you give to someone considering booking their boudoir shoot with us?
Just do it! Set all your nerves and fears aside and just do it. Pamper yourself beforehand, then when you sit in the hair and makeup chair, let them pamper you some more. Take in every moment, because it really is a special feeling.
What types of negative things did you tell yourself before your Boudoir Photographer Auburn CA session?
Confidence is not my forte! Becoming a mom at 22 definitely takes a hit at your self image. Nothing is as it was. I told myself I should lose more weight, I’m not a model so how would these pictures turn out. I tried to use every excuse to talk myself out of doing this photo shoot.
What did your experience do to silence those doubts?
Not only did the experience of being in front of a camera, but Jillian herself, made me feel so beautiful. It’s like when I was in front of the camera, she didn’t see what I saw in myself through the camera lens. Talk about a confidence BOOSTER!
What did you take away from your Boudoir Photographer Auburn CA photography experience that surprised you the most?
That I need to stop being so hard on myself. These pictures made me feel so damn good about myself.
