What was your biggest fear before hiring Boudoir Photographers Roseville CA? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?

My fear was that I wouldn’t look good enough for these types of pictures. I’m not super girly, or sexy, or know how to pose for the best angles. I don’t even care for most regular pictures of myself.

But I was amazed at how comfortable I became during the session. I actually felt beautiful. Jillian was great and could tell when I was thinking to much and help me relax. She would show me pictures during the shoot so I could see how I actually looked instead of the image I had created in my head. It gave my mind a whole new way of thinking of myself and I actually felt beautiful and more confident in myself.

I never thought before the shoot that I would feel that way, I’m so glad I did it.

What, specifically, was your favorite part of your experience, and why?

I really enjoyed the photo shoot once I started to relax. There were a few times where my mind tried to start thinking too much, but once that was under control it was so much fun to get in all the different poses. I had no idea how they would all turn out but as time passed I could feel myself opening up and becoming more confident.

We were having such a good time talking and joking that it made the session feel like you’re having fun with one of your good friends. I couldn’t believe how fast time flew by.

What advice would you give to someone considering booking a session with Boudoir Photographers Roseville CA?

Jillian was the absolute best and is the only way to go. She is absolutely an amazing photographer and was so much fun to be around. She helped walk me through getting into the poses and would help me relax if I was getting tense. I can’t say enough good things about Jillian and how talented she is.

What responses did you get from your Beloved/friends/family about your images?

I gave the album to my husband for our anniversary as a surprise. He opened the album, his eyes got really big and he started to tear up. He looked up at me and said “Wow, these are incredible.” And as he turned the page he got a big smile on his face and said “I love this, you are so beautiful.” He carefully lookedthrough the whole album and he kept saying “oh I like this one.” And he’d flip to a different page “Oh I really like this one.” By the time he got to the end he just kept saying “these are amazing, you are so beautiful.”

His response not only made me feel special but also helped me realize how he sees me through his eyes. And all those little things we nit pick about ourselves is not how our significant other views us.

What types of negative things (if any) did you tell yourself before your session with Boudoir Photographers Roseville CA (ie I don't look like a model, I should lose x lbs, I have stretch marks, too old, etc.)?

I was concerned that I don’t look like a model, or know how to take good pictures. I was worried that all the little things you don’t like about yourself would be so apparent in the pictures.

What did your experience do to silence those doubts?

I was reading others reviews about the experience and I was trying to convince myself that I too would have a positive experience.

What did you take away from your experience with Boudoir Photographers Roseville CA that surprised you the most?

I was surprised about how confident the experience made me feel. I went into it feeling self concious about myself and all my flaws and came out feeling more assured of myself. After seeing my husband’s reaction to the pictures also helped me realize that how he views me is completely different then I view myself. I think this experience helped shift my view so I’m less critical of my flaws and can be more confident in myself.
