Granite Bay Boudoir for a 40th Birthday Gift

What was your biggest fear about your Granite Bay boudoir shoot? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?

I’m clueless about posing for pictures and was worried about looking awkward, but Jillian is the best at what she does and she posed me for every single shot down to my fingers.

What, specifically, was your favorite part of your Granite Bay boudoir experience, and why?

I can’t pinpoint one favorite part because it was entirely an amazing experience. I felt relaxed and pampered, not having to worry about hair, make-up, posing. Jillian is a true expert and I’m glad I let go and left the details up to her expertise.

What advice would you give to someone considering booking a Granite Bay boudoir session with us?

Just do it. You won’t regret it! It’s worth every penny. Every woman deserves to be remembered this way.

What types of negative things (if any) did you tell yourself before your session?

I have stretch marks and very small boobs, ☺ and was worried my pictures wouldn’t look sexy enough…

Jillian had a lot of helpful links, articles and outfit ideas to help make the experience perfect. I spent some time getting the right outfits that it wasn’t so noticeable.

If you could give your Granite Bay boudoir shoot a title, what would it be?

“40 & Fabulous!” I took these pictures for myself, for my older self, and for my daughter. I want to remember how I used to look and feel when I turned 40. I want to empower my daughter to take care of herself and to know that it’s ok to be Smart, Beautiful, Confident & Sexy and she doesn’t have to limit herself in any way to societal stereotypes.
