One of the things I love so much about boudoir is that it’s so versatile. From simple and completely nude to sassy and extravagant, boudoir looks span the whole spectrum. And it’s no different when it comes to jewelry for boudoir.
I love browsing the internet with boudoir outfit ideas, boudoir makeup ideas, and all things boudoir…and I’m guessing that’s why you may be here too. So keep reading if you are looking for some boudoir jewelry ideas!
To Jewelry or not to Jewelry
I have the same philosophy with boudoir jewelry as I do with boudoir in general. Simple is perfect. And “all the things” is also perfect. The important thing is to be completely you in all of your inner-goddess goodness.
When I look back at some of my favorite images of my clients, some of them have zero jewelry on, and that just helps highlight their beautiful bodies. And then I’ve noticed that some of my other favorite images have full-on statement jewelry pieces.
Here are some examples of jewelry for your next boudoir shoot.
Jewelry for Boudoir Ideas
The Engagement/Wedding Ring
You know I’m always an advocate for doing a boudoir session for YOU. But it’s no secret that engagements and anniversaries are both popular occasions to boudoir. So showing off that engagement or wedding ring in your shoot is always a good idea.
The Simple Hoops
Hoops are never going out of style. They are feminine and beautiful without overshadowing the rest of your look.
The Dainty Necklace
A simple and dainty gold or silver necklace is timeless. It highlights your decolletage which is just a super sexy part of the body.
The Pearly Whites
Can we say classic? Choosing pearls for your boudoir jewelry is perfect for any occasion. If it’s for your wedding, it’s a classic choice. Or you can pair it with some sexy black lingerie to give you that Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibe.
The Extravagant Body Jewelry
Wow…look at this STUNNING image of my client. What a statement piece! And paired with a completely nude body…phew. It’s absolute perfection. Don’t be afraid to experiment with some bold jewelry pieces!
Your Boudoir Jewelry Should Be A Reflection of Your Inner Goddess
What I love most about these women is that you can see them glowing from the inside out. They are tapping into a side of them that they may not always see. The pieces, both jewelry and lingerie, are merely a reflection of who they are and help accentuate that inner goddess.
What a joy it is to see them through my lens.
